Melissa Wheeler | Principal
Melissa established the business in 2001 with the aim of working part-time whilst
starting a family. Over 20 years later, the children are now adults, and she still dreams of being part-time (control freak being the roadblock). The business has thrived with her personalised approach and reputation in business. An NTAA Fellow and CPA she is professional, knowledgeable, and able to communicate effectively with her clients.
A Physie teacher in her spare time, she volunteers in many capacities in her local
Wollondilly community. Often bossy and direct (just ask the staff!) but always with
everyone’s best interest and big picture in mind.
Melissa O’Connor | Team manager & accountant
Mel may as well be part of the furniture, having worked at MAP for over 10 years. She is a qualified Accountant after completing her Bachelor of Accounting in 2020. With strong attention to detail and a focus on compliance, Mel ensures our work is executed to the highest standard. Mel leads the MAP team but distracts them just as much by always talking about food and being up for a good laugh – “balance” she calls it. Mel’s spare time is generally consumed by her Aussie Shepherd (Tully) who is equal parts crazy and cute.
Jason Del Vecchio | Accountant
Jason joined MAP in March 2021 after graduating Western Sydney University, completing a Bachelor of Business with an Accounting major. Jason is in the process of completing his CPA course, to help develop his knowledge in the accounting industry. Since starting at MAP, Jason has kindly assumed the role of Self-Managed Super Fund guru. If you’re looking for an early retirement, he is your guy. In his free time Jason enjoys watching sports (even though his teams always lose) and spending time with friends and family.
Kelsey Yule | Admin
Kelsey is an essential member of MAP, serving as our dedicated Administrative Specialist. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for organisation, Kelsey ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Kelsey is the girl behind our social media as she is also studying Marketing. If not working Kelsey will be seen either dancing in the car to country music or laughing with her friends & family.
Jessica DaviS | Trainee Accountant
Jess joined the MAP team in 2021 as a Trainee Accountant. She completed her Certificate 4 in Accounting in 2022 and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University. Jess is MAP’s spreadsheet queen and will often tell the team that their spreadsheets are, while functional, lacking flair. Her ideal day would include chocolate, watching tv and relaxing with her dogs… and her fiancé if he’s not at the golf course!
